Put in a request for a repair and repairman was at the house the next day. I was given my choice of multiple days to have the work done. Very happy with the result.

Michael is the coolest. He listens, explains what he is doing and make sure stuff is fixed before moving on.

My experience with Tricon Residential has been excellent. I truly appreciate their professionalism, support, and the quality of their service. Everything has been great, and I am very satisfied with my experience. I highly recommend Tricon Residential to anyone looking for a home. Thank you for your outstanding service!

The past almost 2 years in our last town were amazing, no issues with the house, every maintenance request filled and never canceled without reason. We had to relocate to another city in the state due to a job relocation, and have been met with some misguided ideas of what we were moving into. Since then everything has been taken care of maintenance wise, we’ve been reached out to see if everything was taken care of I assume by higher ups.. we haven’t had a bad experience, and it’s definitely better than owning a home! We’ve loved the convenience, the price points have been incredible. We will continue with them until we don’t need to anymore!

Was very good experience. The company who install the new water heater, fixed the furnace and the sump pump were very experienced and professional. They did an excellent job in a short period of time. Thank you all for the prompt fixes.

Darius Burley was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! He came in to complete a work order and was super friendly and extremely thorough about explaining what could have possibly caused the issue. This is one of the best maintenance visits I have had Tricon if I need a work order completed again please send Darius 😁

Resident Stories from Across Texas
Read stories from Tricon residents across Texas about finding a home, settling into their communities, and the support they’ve received from our out-caring team along the way.
My fiance and I were making things work in a 650 Sqft apartment after we had some trouble and had to move her in with me, it was fine just me in that small of an apartment, but us 2 with a dog and all of our stuff just became too tight of a fit. after dealing with HAR, greedy Realtors, and private equity people taking away all of our options, we stumbled across a perfect first family house, and it happened to be owned by Tricon. the application process was super straight forward and unlike some other companies, they actually gave us equal opportunity to be able to rent a house. We are a young couple, with excellent credit and are financially responsible, which is a rare breed from GenZ i know… but luckily Tricon was able to help us out and allowed us to be able to find our First spot to call ""Home"". We thank Tricon for their helpful team for getting us into our first house and on their consistant fast response to any and all requests and inquiries we have. Have a blessed day.
Absolutely! I’d make it heartfelt, specific, and make Kyle’s part stand out because she’s the reason you found the perfect home: Our Tricon story is one we’re truly grateful for! ❤️ Finding a home that checked all the boxes wasn’t easy, but then we met Kyle. After showing ourselves a 3-bedroom that wasn’t quite right, Kyle happened to come to our car and encouraged us to take a look at the 4-bedroom. And WOW—she was right! It was perfect for our family. 🏡❤️ Kyle took the time to tell us what life at Tricon was really like, answered every question, and made us feel confident in our decision. From the seamless move-in process—even when we needed to move our date up—to the amazing responsiveness of the maintenance team, Tricon has truly exceeded our expectations. Our neighborhood is clean, quiet, and welcoming, and our family absolutely loves calling Tricon home. We’re so thankful Kyle took that extra step that day because we may have never found our perfect home without her! ❤️🏡✨
Finding Tricon changed what “home” means to me. 🏡❤️ As a man, being able to provide my family with a beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful home means everything to me. We looked at several places, but we found Tricon because Kyle took the extra step to come to our car and encourage us to see a home we almost overlooked. That home ended up being the one. From the first conversation to move-in day, Tricon made the entire experience feel effortless. And now, having a community that takes care of the lawn and responds quickly when something needs attention gives me something I value even more—time. Time to work, time to provide, time with my family, and time to actually enjoy the life I’m working so hard to build. Our home is clean, our neighborhood is peaceful, our community is beautiful, and most importantly, my family is happy. Sometimes the smallest moments lead you to exactly where you’re supposed to be. For us, that moment was Kyle walking up to our car. ❤️ Thank you, Tricon, for helping me give my family a place we’re proud to call home. 🏡✨
My family and I recently moved into our Tricon home and you know, I suppose I could pain a beautiful and generic picture of the experience, but I'd much rather share my honest encounter. From the day my family and I moved, it immediately felt like home. Tim welcomed us and did a virtual walk-through with us to help us get acquainted and assured everything we needed was available. I've called maintenance a couple of times because it is an older home, and they have been great each time. The most recent encounter with maintenance was me needing a seal reapplied to the back door. Adam came out (In the rain, no less) and was super gracious about getting the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I enjoy our neighborhood and was blessed to meet three really kind neighbors, one who didn't even mind when my kid accidentally hit a soccer ball into her yard. The team at Tricon, from the very moment I found a home I liked, to the day of move-in have been incredibly helpful, resourceful, and honest about what to expect from them. From offering assistance with fees, to guiding us to the best options for our lease agreement, the Tricon team has been a pleasure to work with and I look forward to our time here! Thank you Tricon!
Two days before we were scheduled to move into our Tricon home, we learned we had to be out of our previous home immediately. With our child, our dogs, and nowhere else to go, we were facing the very real possibility of sleeping in our car for two nights. We called Tricon hoping for a solution. Even though it was the weekend, the customer service representative listened, understood how serious the situation was, and reached out to the district manager, who was off at the time. Together, they moved things around and found a way to let us move into our home early. That may sound like a simple change in dates, but to our family, it meant everything. It meant our child had a safe place to sleep. It meant our dogs had somewhere to settle. Most of all, it meant we were treated like people, not just another lease or move-in on a calendar. What has stayed with me most is that they did not have to go that extra mile, but they chose to. Before we ever carried a box through the door, Tricon had already made our new house feel like home.
Good morning, Tricon I want to share a troubling story with a peaceful ending. Around November or December of 2024 Shortly after moving in, my wife and I were sitting at our perfectly positioned kitchen table. We can see the entire front lawn and all of the traffic that traverses on our street. While eating our earlier than usual dinner, I just happen to notice a young girl walking up the sidewalk towards the front door crying and looking confused. I asked my wife "" who is this kid and I wonder what she's trying to sell"". We both jumped up from the table and went to the front door. Before she could even ring the doorbell, I opened the door and asked ""may I help you"". With the most innocent voice, she says ""I just got off the school bus and a man in a beige car keeps driving by and he told me to get in the car. It was at this point that my wife and I ushered her into our house, as I stepped out to try and pinpoint the identity of the car or the person driving it. After a few minutes of no movements, I retreated back into the house. We asked her her name and age. Alexa was her name and she was 12 years of age. She didn't have a cell phone ,(surprise!), so she used ours to call home. No answer. We asked her where did she live and she explained that she lived just around the corner from us. We keep our cars in the garage all the time. We decided to abandon our earlier than usual dinner and take her home right away. Of course we walked through the house to the garage to provide this scared little girl with some level of obscurity and protection. Once we got to the car, I think she was okay by then. I told her not to worry because we have tint on our windows and she'll be home in a minute. We pulled out of the garage with my head on a swivel. It took us less than two minutes to get her home, with her directions. We dropped her off and told her to send a parent or guardian to the car so we could speak with them. After speaking with her mom, we learned that her brother forgot to pick her up. This is really crazy because we got home and realized that we didn't even lock our own front door as we left. I guess it was because we went out the garage door, and we were in protective mode. Nothing else mattered at that precise moment. Nevertheless, everything was just fine, mainly that little girl.
When my family moved into our Tricon home, we were looking for more than just a place to live we wanted a place that truly felt like home. From the beginning, the process was smooth, and every interaction with the Tricon team made us feel welcomed and valued. One thing I’ve appreciated most is how responsive and respectful the maintenance and customer service teams have been whenever we’ve needed assistance. Knowing that concerns are addressed professionally gives my family peace of mind. Our home has also given us the space to create meaningful memories together. My children have a safe place to play, study, and grow, and we enjoy spending time together in a neighborhood that feels comfortable and welcoming. After busy days at work and school, it’s comforting to come home to a place where we can truly relax. Living at Tricon has been a positive experience because it’s not just about renting a house it’s about feeling supported and cared for as residents. I’m grateful to be part of a community that values its residents and works hard to make them feel at home.
When my family and I moved into our Tricon home, we were hoping to find more than just a house we wanted a place that truly felt like home. From the moment we settled in, that’s exactly what we found. Our home is warm, comfortable, and cozy. It’s where we’ve celebrated birthdays, gathered for family dinners, watched our children grow, and made countless memories together. After long days at work and school, it’s always a blessing to come home to a place where we feel safe, comfortable, and at peace. One of the things that has made our experience even more special is our wonderful neighbors. We’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by kind, friendly people who genuinely look out for one another. That sense of community has made our neighborhood feel welcoming and has given us confidence that we’re raising our children in a great environment. We’re truly grateful for the positive experience we’ve had as Tricon residents. Having a comfortable home and caring neighbors has made a meaningful difference in our family’s life, and we’re thankful to call this place home.
For the past five years, our family has had the privilege of living in a Tricon rental home in Humble, Texas. It has become much more than just a house, it has been a place of comfort, stability, and peace where we have created many wonderful memories together. Just a few months ago, our family went through one of the most difficult times in our lives. We learned that our immigration case would be sent to court, leaving us uncertain about our future and whether we would be able to remain in the country. At the same time, our lease was about to expire. We were afraid to renew for another full year because, if we were required to leave the country before the lease ended, we knew we could face costly penalties for breaking the lease early. To make matters even more difficult, we were also facing a period of unemployment. Feeling overwhelmed, we called Tricon to explain our situation. The representative who answered our call was kind and compassionate and connected us with Michael, a manager who took the time to truly listen to our concerns. Michael showed genuine kindness, empathy, and understanding. He approved a month-to-month lease renewal while allowing us to keep the same rate as an annual lease. That thoughtful decision lifted a tremendous weight off our shoulders during a very uncertain time. Before ending our conversation, he even asked if there was anything else he could do to help. To our family, Michael felt like an angel in the middle of a storm. His compassion, professionalism, and willingness to help gave us hope and peace of mind when we needed it most. We will never forget the care and respect he showed our family. We truly love our home, our neighborhood, and the wonderful community we are part of. After five years as Tricon residents, we are deeply grateful for the kindness and support we have received. Our experience has shown us that caring for residents is more than just a slogan, it is a commitment that Tricon genuinely lives by every day. With gratitude, The Rodriguez Pumar Family
On a Saturday mid-afternoon we became aware that the water pressure in our home was very low in the entire house. Come to find out there was a problem at the water main shut-off valve near the street. Water was pouring out of the pipes and running down the street. It took a while but I managed to shut the valve and stop the water. But now there's no running water available to the house! I called Tricon but the customer service office had/was closed and I was prompted to make an after hour service request, which I did. I also called my local water department and a technician was sent, but informed me that this was a plumbing issue not a city issue. So I contacted Tricon again, this time stating the extreme importance of the situation and how my family was being severely impacted by this unfortunate event. Long behold the agent that was on-call for after-hours service calls contacted me within minutes telling me that one of their contractors would be calling me to send a technician to our residence. I was so relieved because at this point it had been a couple of hours that there had been no running water. I was scared that we were going to have to spend unnecessary money on hotel rooms til possibly the following Monday being that it was a weekend. I dont remember the agents name but she definitely showed compassion for my family and made sure our problem got rectified.
When my husband, Darius, and I moved into our Tricon home three years ago, it was a really special moment for us. This was our first rental home together, and we were excited to have a space that truly felt like our own. We dreamed about creating memories here, hosting our families, and building a life together, and that’s exactly what we’ve been able to do. Over the last three years, our home has been filled with family gatherings, holiday celebrations, cookouts, game nights, and visits from loved ones. It has been the place where we have laughed together, supported each other through difficult times, and made memories that we will cherish forever. Having a home where our family and friends feel welcome has meant so much to us. From the very beginning, our experience with Tricon has been wonderful. The application process was smooth, maintenance requests have always been handled quickly, and every team member we’ve interacted with has been kind, professional, and respectful. Knowing that we can count on Tricon has allowed us to truly enjoy our home and focus on what matters most. One of the greatest blessings that came from living here was meeting our neighbor, Kim. Kim lived alone and one day reached out to ask if we could help with her lawn. Without hesitation, Darius started cutting her grass, and what began as a simple act of kindness turned into a meaningful friendship. We would check on her regularly, stop to talk with her, and make sure she had everything she needed. She was the kind of neighbor who could brighten your day with a simple conversation. As time went on, Kim became more than just our neighbor. She became someone we genuinely cared about. Even when she was in the hospital, we continued calling to check on her because we wanted her to know she wasn’t alone and that someone was thinking about her. Unfortunately, Kim recently passed away. We were heartbroken when we learned the news. Seeing her daughter holding a yard sale and helping settle her mother’s belongings was a reminder of just how much Kim had become a part of our lives. Since then, I’ve found myself reflecting on how thankful I am that our paths crossed. If we had never moved into this Tricon home, we may have never met Kim. We would have missed the opportunity to know such a kind and caring person. We would have missed the chance to build a friendship that taught us the importance of looking out for one another and being there for our neighbors. When I think about what makes a house a home, I don’t just think about the walls, the rooms, or the backyard. I think about the people. I think about the memories we’ve created here, the family we’ve welcomed through our doors, and the relationships we’ve built in this neighborhood. Tricon gave us our first home together, but it also gave us something even more valuable: a sense of community. It gave us a place where neighbors become friends, where kindness still exists, and where people truly care about one another. For that, Darius and I will always be grateful. — Keeanna and Darius
Hello I have been a Tricon Resident since September of 2025 and we absolutely love our home. We love that it’s on a corner which allows for more people to park, because we sure do love to have parties and invite tons of family and friends. We were initially a little hesitant to meet our neighbors, because I think like most people we wanted to get a feel for the neighborhood. Finally after a couple of months we finally drew up the courage and introduced ourselves and we couldn’t be happier with them. I think what sealed the deal was when we invited them over for a party and they absolutely loved the food we had. All the credit goes to my Mom for her incredible cooking skills and her love for sharing food with others. We now regularly bring them food and the neighbor has even offered to help pitch in for the cost of the food for our parties. I also now help the husband mow his lawn and vise versa. We have also met some of the other families who live on the block and they have all been wonderful and extremely welcoming. We are truly lucky to have found this home and extremely grateful for Tricon and everything they have done for us. Lastly I want to give a major shoutout to the incredible maintenance team. They are always very professional and incredibly knowledgeable. Thank you!
