Joel Barshaw is responsible for portfolio reporting, analytics, and business insights that inform strategic and operational decision-making. He oversees performance measurement across the single-family operations platform and partners closely with functional leaders to ensure insights translate into improved portfolio performance.
Joel brings more than 10 years of experience across finance, analytics, and real estate, combining institutional-grade reporting with a hands-on investment perspective. His background includes building scalable analytics frameworks, supporting the development of property-level and corporate budgets, and translating operational and financial data into clear, decision-oriented narratives. Prior to joining Tricon, Joel held a finance role at Beazer Homes, where he supported forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives across residential development and operations.
Joel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics from Oregon State University and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
