Steven Steele is responsible for developing and executing Tricon’s occupied maintenance strategy across its national portfolio. In this role, Steven oversees maintenance operations, service delivery programs, vendor partnerships, operational technology initiatives, and performance management efforts designed to enhance the resident experience while driving efficiency, consistency, and operational excellence. He also leads the implementation of maintenance-focused technology solutions and supports the development of new operational capabilities that strengthen Tricon’s long-term service platform.
With more than two decades of experience across single-family rental and multi-family housing, Steven has held roles spanning field operations, maintenance leadership, technology, analytics, and corporate strategy. Having started his career at the property level, he brings a practical understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing field teams, which continues to shape his approach to building resident-focused solutions that support efficient service delivery at scale.
Prior to joining Tricon, Steven held leadership positions at Essex Property Trust, where he led enterprise-wide initiatives focused on business intelligence, operational reporting, process improvement, capital planning, technology implementation, and field support across a portfolio of more than 65,000 apartment homes. Earlier in his career, he supported operations across a nationwide portfolio of approximately 48,000 single-family rental homes, helping drive service and operational performance at scale.
