How do I know if a home includes a washer and dryer?

Washers and dryers are included in select homes, and availability varies by property. To confirm whether a specific home is equipped with these appliances, review the home listing:

  • Home Features: Look for “Washer & Dryer” in the amenities section of the listing.
  • Costs & Conveniences Breakdown: The Resident Convenience Package will also indicate whether the home includes washer & dryer.

How much do I pay for the washer and dryer package?

Homes that include a washer and dryer have a $35 monthly fee. 

You can see this charge in the Costs & Conveniences Breakdown under the Resident Convenience Package on the home listing and in your lease details.

If my home doesn’t include a washer and dryer, can I still add the package?

Yes. If your home is eligible, you can add a washer and dryer to your lease at any time. 

To get started, log into the Tricon Resident App and go to the “Offers” section. If available for your home, you will see the washer and dryer option there. 

Select the offer and follow the prompts to review the monthly cost and add it to your lease. Once the lease addendum is signed by all leaseholders, our team will contact you to schedule installation, which typically takes place within two weeks, subject to availability and scheduling.*

If I add a washer and dryer to my lease, when will I see the charge?

You’ll see your first charge in the month your washer and dryer are installed. This amount will be adjusted (prorated) based on your installation date, so you’re only charged for the days the appliances are in your home that month.  

A full monthly charge will begin the following month.

Can I opt out of, replace, or use my own washer and dryer instead?

If your home includes a washer and dryer, they are part of the home and must remain in place for the duration of your lease.

How do I get maintenance support with my washer and dryer?

Simply submit a maintenance request through the Tricon Resident App or call 844-874-2661, and our team will take care of the rest.
