How Tricon’s Neighborhood Experience Helped Jerry Feel Connected

One of the things Jerry appreciates most about living in his Tricon home is the sense of connection he feels with the people around him. For him, knowing his neighbors and seeing families active in the neighborhood has made the experience feel more personal and welcoming.

“What I like about this home that Tricon has for me is that I know all my neighbors. I speak to all my neighbors, all the kids on the street know me as the old man on the block. And it gives me a warmth, a comfort.”

How Jerry Describes the Neighborhood Around His Tricon Home

Jerry also values living in a neighborhood that feels active, safe, and well cared for.

“Other places here in Arizona, people close their blinds, close their windows. Kids don’t come out on the street. Here on the street, that doesn’t happen, and it makes a difference. It makes it a pleasure to live here in the neighborhood. I have a beautiful home here and the people and my neighbors make it even better.”

Jerry is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a Tricon resident. He reflects on how a welcoming neighborhood and close connections with neighbors create a positive rental experience.
